The project in Zengcheng, Guangzhou is progressing smoothly.

On May 12th, the China Railway Construction Corporation's Bridge Bureau completed all the pile foundation construction for the project in Zengcheng, Guangzhou! This has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent main structure construction and taken a crucial step towards the goal of full-line operation of the project!

The project is located in Xintang Town, Guangzhou, and is a supporting project for the construction of a three-dimensional large-scale transportation system around the major mission of building the "Eastern Center of Guangzhou". The project includes the main line and left and right auxiliary roads of Lixin Avenue, the main line bridge of Donghua Avenue, the reconstruction of the Lixin Road and Guangyuan East Road composite interchange, and the reconstruction of the interchange between Qianjin Road and Guangyuan East Road. The bridges span over Guangyuan Expressway, Lixin Road, Guangshen Railway, Metro Line 13, Ring Road, etc. A total of 42 bridges and 1,253 pile foundations are designed.

The project construction crosses the existing Guangyuan Expressway, with saturated traffic flow and strict traffic protection conditions. In addition, there are difficulties such as road-related construction, tree relocation, construction near gas and oil pipelines, and complex procedures for traffic diversion.

To ensure the smooth progress of the construction, the China Railway Construction Corporation's Bridge Bureau Zengcheng Project Department set a firm goal, faced difficulties head-on, actively coordinated and communicated with various units, optimized resource allocation, and formulated a meticulous construction organization plan. During the construction process, they strictly controlled every aspect from raw material quality to construction techniques, and ultimately overcame various construction challenges, ensuring the successful completion of the pile foundation construction for this project.

In the next step, the China Railway Construction Corporation's Bridge Bureau Zengcheng Project Department will fully shift to the construction of the upper structure of the project and continue to strive towards the goal of full-line operation.

The completion of the project is an important measure to achieve the development of the "Modern Vital Core" of the Eastern Center of Guangzhou. It is of great significance for promoting the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, improving the efficiency of the transportation network of the Eastern Transport Hub of Guangzhou, promoting economic development, optimizing urban layout, and enhancing the competitiveness of the city. After the operation of the three-dimensional large-scale transportation system, Xintang will actively integrate into the "Guangzhou Half-Hour Commuting Circle", greatly facilitating the travel of the people of Xintang.
